1. Why create an online account?
Hassle-free– With an online account you won’t have to worry about calling or travelling to the CSRL office for any update on your portfolio balance; saving you two valuable resources, your time and your money. All your portfolio information can be accessed from the comfort of your home/office/yacht if you have internet access;
Access to key information – Once you have created an account, you would be able to have viewing and downloading rights to your:
Unclaimed Dividends summary;
Holding Balances;
Personal details; and
You can also print out your statements online.
Monitoring and valuation of your Portfolio – An online account offers more than just a running balance of the number of shares you hold in a listed company, it also offers you the value of those shares as at the end of a business day, calculated automatically by the system based on end-of-trading day stock prices. This offers you valuable information for your trading decisions.
2. How can I create my online account?
Getting started is as easy as A, B, C:

Wait for a notification e-mail from CSRL confirming the creation of your account.
3. Can I update my account details online?
‘Better safe than sorry’- The Central Share Registry (CSRL) does not permit this feature in the interest of protecting the privacy of your information and your account from security issues such as illegal/unauthorized changes to account details and any resulting losses. Before changes are made to account details, relevant information will need to be submitted to CSRL to independently verify the identity of persons requesting account changes and ensure that they have the legal authority to do the same.
4. Where can I find information on how much my investments are actually worth?
This information is available under My Statement in the shareholders online account.

5. How can I update my online account information?
A. Changing your address?
Complete the Shareholder Information Form. -
Click here
(You must fill in all required fields and sign at the bottom of the form before CSRL assess your application);
Attach a copy of a valid ID (e.g. FNPF card, Voter ID card, Drivers License or a Passport ID);
Then either e-mail documents to
registry@spx.com.fj
, mail it to P O Box 11689, Suva or hand-deliver it to the CSRL office.
Note
:
*If emailed/mailed through the post, the photocopy IDs of the trustees must be certified by a Justice of Peace/ Lawyer.
An email notification will be sent to your nominated e-mail address when CSRL has received your documents and when we have updated your account details;
Expected Turnaround time: 3-5 days (depending on adequacy of documents submitted)
B. Changing my name or correcting the spelling of my name that is currently appearing on my account?
Complete the Statutory Declaration Form (by declaring that both the name on the share certificate and the “name you would want to use” both belong to you.

Attach your original share certificate(s) that was reissued under the name you wish to change AND a copy of a valid ID (FNPF card, Voter ID card, Drivers license or a Passport ID);
Then either e-mail documents to

6. Facing difficulties logging in or accessing account information?

7. How long is my dividend/interest cheque valid for?
All dividend/interest cheques are valid for a period of six months from the date that is specified on the cheque. Banks will not accept a cheque that is more than 6 months old. If you are in this situation, you will need to obtain a replacement cheque from CSRL and a fee will apply.
8. How do I check if I have any unpresented dividend/interest cheques?
Simply log in to your account and click on ‘Payment History’ to view this information. All unpresented cheques will be listed under the column titled ‘Payment Status’ and titled ‘Unpresented’.
9. Can I have dividends/interest payments credited to another person or entity’s bank account?
Yes, to authorize this:
Securityholders must specify this while filling in the
Shareholder Information Form
.
We will need the following:
A letter of authority from yourself stating that you have authorized CSRL to pay all dividends to the nominated bank account;
ID cards of both the shareholder and the person to whom the dividends will be payable to.
10. Can I transfer my dividend money to my managed Fund Account e.g. Unit Trust?
Yes, to authorize this:

Shareholder Information Form
.
We will need a letter of authority from yourself stating the following:
That you both authorize SPX to pay FHUT all dividends from RCF shares with which they will top-up your FHUT account;
The time frame from which you would like us to commence executing your request (for e.g. From the next dividend payment for RCF until such time you change your Dividend Payment mode with CSRL);
Details of the FHUT account (account name and number) to which your RCF dividends shall be reinvested.
11. What does ‘Dividend-Reinvestment’ mean and what dividend-reinvestment options are available?
Dividend Reinvestment is the option of being able to buy more of the listed entities share from the dividends received.
At this stage, the Dividend-reinvestment option is only available to shareholders of the Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) and Kontiki Finance Limited (KFL) security. Security holders of other SPX listed entities will be advised via Market Announcement when the re-investment option becomes available to them.
12. What happens to dividends I haven't received? (Unpresented cheques and unclaimed monies procedures)
All Unclaimed dividends and a record of persons to whom unclaimed dividends are owed are maintained by CSRL.

so that we can arrange for dividend payments via your preferred payment method (i.e. cheque, direct deposit and TT)
13. My shareholding statement has been misplaced - what do I do?
You can login and download your updated shareholding statement from the
Online Shareholder Portal

14. What do I do if my dividend/interest cheque has been damaged, stolen or lost?
Please report this immediately to CSRL so that a ‘Stop-Payment’ request to the relevant Bank can be placed and cancellation of the cheque applied; then
